Q Can I have the skip on the road?
It is possible to have it on a public road, all that is needed is a permit from your council. Prices vary from council to
council, Birmingham charge £15 per permit, a standard notice period of 5 days is required.
We can apply for a permit on your behalf, please speak to a member of our team for more details.
Q How much is a skip?
There are a number of factors that can affect the price of the skip, such as size, location and if a permit is required (we dont charge you to obtain one on your behalf). To get an accurate picture of how much a skip will cost you, please speak to one of our team members who will be happy to provide you with a quote over the phone.
Q When can you deliver?
If you do not require a permit or have obtained your own, we can deliver any day of your choosing within Birmingham and the surrounding areas, usually on the same day but almost certainly the next day.
Q How long can I hire a skip for?
If you do not need a permit you can hire for as long as you require. If you need a permit the maximum period
for a skip on a public road or highway is 7 days, you can apply for another permit if longer is required.
Q If i’m not in, can you still deliver?
Yes, as long has payment has been made!
Q What do I do when I've finished using my Skip?
Give our skip hire team a call as soon as you are done and we will aim to collect your skip within 2 working days.
Q What can't I put in the skip?
Flammables, asbestos, electrical equipment: TV's, cookers, toasters, phones, computers,
microwaves, batteries, tyres, chemicals, compressed gas.
Q Can I mix the waste?
Yes, we'll do all the sorting for you.
Q Will there be any damage to my driveway?
Our skip hire drivers are experienced and take good care however we advise you to put some wood or
cardboard underneath the skip for protection.
Q Is my waste recycled?
Yes, we recycle as much of your waste as possible.
